MUSCADELLE
OUR MONBAZILLAC MUSCADELLE
A relatively little cultivated grape variety, Muscadelle produces a white grape that is often used in a blend with Semillon and Sauvignon to make Monbazillac, but it can also be used to make dry white wine.
The wines made from it are generally smoother and rounder. Its main characteristic is a very dominant, slightly heady aroma of candied orange and rose, which becomes very interesting when overripe.
